I’m in love with chunky jewelry. And turquoise. There…I said it! I wish I could pull off dainty earrings and necklaces. I’ve tried…but it feels all wrong to me. Cute post earring like this one…adorable. I buy them, but never wear them. To be embarrassingly honest, I love my large silver hoop earrings so much, I wear them every single day.
One of my favorite places to shop for jewelry is Sundance. Oh Lordy, I adore that store! Lots of silver and stones. Their rings are substantial — nice heavy silver. Plus, I do believe Mr. Robert Redford himself owns the company. That’s all the accreditation I need. (Hi Robert!) Check out their home furnishings and clothing too. It’s all drool worthy.
O.K. my personal preferences aside, bold jewelry can really make an outfit. Instead of sporting just a white t-shirt, add a necklace like this one…killer. If you are going to wear a watch, why not spice it up. Your outfit will pop and out you as tragically hip. One tip: when wearing statement jewelry, don’t over do it. Pick one piece and keep the rest of your accessories to a minimum.
