Merry, merry Christmas! I had my last photo session of 2010 just the other day, all orders are completed and I’ve already started in on my vacation (notice the lack of blogs!). I’m thoroughly enjoying being lazy and detaching myself from my computer.
2010 was such an incredible year! A huge thank you to all who were a part of it! I’m humbled and grateful to work with such wonderful people and lucky enough to L.O.V.E. what I do everyday. (I tried to type “clients” instead of people, but just couldn’t do it. You all feel much more like friends!)
2011 is shaping up to be action-packed. I’ve received several requests to hit the road this year. I’m venturing out of Southern California and will be making stops in Washington D.C., Virginia, New York City and San Jose. If you would like in on the action, let me know. If I can schedule 10(ish) sessions in your area, I will come with a camera in hand and a big smile on my face.
All business aside, behold our family Christmas picture this year. I didn’t take a family photo last year because I had just had a baby…and come on…who wants to have their picture taken right after they have a baby?? Not me. I had kind of forgotten the drama surrounding getting 7 people ready for a photo session. I actually thought out and bought outfits. Then, hit the big day, major drama ensued as all 4 boys flat out refused to cooperate. So…I had a choice. I could either force the issue and make everyone miserable. Or let. it. go. I decided to just let them wear what they wanted to wear and go with it. Check out my youngest son’s face. Oh my. I love this photo of him, because it portrays his personality sooooo well. Makes me laugh every time I look at it.
