Here is a sneak peek of a session I had with my parents. My mom wanted a Christmas photo, so we headed to a nearby dry riverbed while they were in town to get a couple of shots. It’s not like they are hard to take pictures of…they are both gorgeous.
I’m really into movement shots lately. So, after the token face shots, I said, “O.K. this next photo is just for me. I want you guys to dance right over here and I’m just going to take a couple of shots of it.” My dad looked at my like I was crazy…dance in a riverbed? Then he promptly scanned the area to see if anyone was watching. Then he looked at me like I was crazy again.
Finally he complied. We laughed the entire time. But…it’s one of my all-time favorite photos of them.
