Confession: this post is really an excuse for me to FINALLY post some photos of Miss Claire on her 1st birthday…or a month after that…whatever.
I kept meaning to take her out to a lovely location with some lovely light and a birthday cake, balloons, etc. But between the crazy weather we had all during December and various illnesses circulating through our home…it just never happened. So today I decided that enough was enough. If I didn’t just do it…she might very well be 2 by the time all the stars aligned. So, I just plopped her down in my bedroom and took a couple of shots. She wasn’t too thrilled about it and it literally lasted about 2 minutes. But it’s done. Check. Her one-year-old self is officially documented. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go cuddle with the cutie.
